This document governs the text messages SleekBase sends on behalf of a business, and the rights of every recipient. It applies to businesses that enable text messaging and to the customers who receive those messages.
Text messages sent through SleekBase are transactional only: the confirmation of an appointment you booked, reminders before that appointment, and a one-time code to verify a business phone number. We do not send marketing, promotions or advertising by text message.
Messages are sent on behalf of the business you contacted, through our telecom provider. Once the business's own number is approved, messages arrive from that number. Until then they arrive from a SleekBase platform number and are signed with the business name, so you always know who is writing to you.
You give consent when you provide your phone number while booking an appointment in a business's Digital Branch, where you are told that you will receive the confirmation and reminders for that appointment. Consent is limited to that purpose. Consent is never a condition of purchase and is never bought, sold or shared with third parties.
Frequency depends on your own appointments: typically one confirmation when you book, one reminder the day before and one reminder shortly before the appointment. We do not send recurring campaigns.
Reply STOP to any message at any time. You will receive one final confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, and we will send you no further text messages. The words STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END and QUIT are all honored. To start receiving them again, reply START or UNSTOP. You can also ask the business directly, or write to us at info@sleekbase.io.
Reply HELP to any message and you will receive a reply identifying the sender, the purpose of the messages and how to reach support. You can also write to info@sleekbase.io.
SleekBase does not charge you for receiving these messages. Message and data rates may apply according to your own mobile plan. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Messages are delivered to mobile numbers in the United States through major carriers. Delivery depends on your carrier and network and cannot be guaranteed; where a text message cannot be delivered, the business may reach you by email instead.
Your phone number is used only to send you the appointment messages described above and is stored as part of the appointment record of the business you contacted. It is never sold, rented or shared for marketing. If you unsubscribe, we keep a record of your number in an opt-out list — that record is the only way to guarantee we never message you again. Our Privacy Policy explains the rest.
A business that enables text messaging confirms that the number it registers belongs to it, that it has a legitimate relationship with the recipients, and that it will not use this channel for marketing. Misuse leads to suspension of the channel.
